Allow 1-2 hours for your enjoyable visit to the National Aquarium of New Zealand.

 

For international visitors that are used to busier countries and longer queues at visitor attractions – New Zealand is much quieter and queues much shorter. In our peak season over summer there is a slightly longer wait at the door but you will definitely not miss out on getting a ticket and seeing our National Aquarium.

 

At set times during the day, divers will enter the Oceanarium to feed the fish, and there will be other presentations around the aquarium. Check the sign boards for times.
