Diving with the Sharks
At 10am everyday at the National Aquarium of New Zealand you can observe fun and frolics in the Pania Reef tank when ‘Daring Dan’ the diver takes to the depths in a ‘feeding frenzy’ with his fishy friends.
He will ask you questions by way of signs, maybe he will dance, do acrobatics, ride a bike underwater, lie down and blow bubbles or just generally ‘muck about’!
He really enjoys himself, as do all the children watching – the fishy residents don’t seem to mind his antics either.
So don’t miss the ‘Feeding Frenzy’ at 10am everyday at the National Aquarium – just normal admission prices, no extra charge for the show.

Take the plunge with the Sharks and Stingrays!
If you are a certified diver, come and take the plunge in our beautiful oceanarium. Eyeballing a seven gill shark, having a stingray flap over your shoulder or getting up close and personal to feed a kahawhai or snapper are all part of the programme.

You don't need to be a certified diver to swim with the sharks and stingrays. We supply wetsuit, snorkel and fins.
Adults and children can swim if they dare! (children under 15 need to be accompanied by a swimming paying adult).
Swim times are 9am, 11am and 3pm.
