Seaweek poetry competition
Enter the 2017 Seaweek poetry competition. Write a poem that reflects the theme of Seaweek 2017, “Healthy Seas Healthy People - Toiora te Moana - Toiora te Tangata” and enter it into the poetry competition.
There are five categories; three school* categories (Primary, Intermediate and Secondary), an adult category and a Te Reo category. (This is open to all ages. If you are a school student please state your age.)
All entries must be 400 words or less, delivered to the National Aquarium of New Zealand by 4pm Friday 19 May 2017.
Each entry must be accompanied by the entry form below. Winners will be notified by Friday 2 June 2017.
Winners in each category will be asked to be part of the Seaweek Poetry Reading evening at the National Aquarium of New Zealand at 7pm on Thursday 8 June 2017.
