Looking for a venue that amazes your guests?  The National Aquarium offers a unique and exciting venue for your next function.  Whether you are hosting a formal dinner or a cocktail party, the aquarium offers endless possibilities.

Mix up your event with a tour of the exhibits, some close encounters with the animals or even a diving display!  We can help you build a theme and create an evening that’s memorable for everyone!

Options for hire

Build your own event or select from one of our existing packages and themes to give you a head start.  You can organise your own entertainment or music and our menus caters for breakfast, platters, finger food and buffet dinners.

Breakfast meetings 7am-9am
Evening functions 5pm-12pm
Other times may be available – please ask.

Number of guests
Exhibition Hall: 100 cocktail style, 60 concert style
Formal dinner: 50 people
Hireage of the Exhibition Hall is $120 per hour.

Cancellation policy
Please confirm your number of guests no less than three working days before your function. If you need to cancel your function, please let us know a minimum of three weeks prior to the date of your booking otherwise full charges may be incurred.
