Functions - Napier, Hawkes Bay
Have your Hawkes Bay function in the National Aquarium Exhibition Hall, with the unique Pania Reef tank as your backdrop.
The exhibition hall is situated beside the oceanarium and your guests can also view the ocean tank through the tunnel while riding on the moving walkway.
This facility can be hired at $115.20 per hour and can house up to 100 people standing, 50 people for a buffet dinner and 60 people concert style.
Functions can be held before or after aquarium opening hours.
Finger food and beverages are available (both hot and cold). The National Aquarium has a liquor licence. Sample menus are available.
We can supply music for your function, either in the background or as entertainment.
In addition, we have available an entertainer who harmoniously personifies the integration of Maori and Pakeha cultural values to welcome, connect and entertain your guests.
Guided tours of the aquarium can be taken before, during or after your function, taking approximately half an hour to complete, at the cost of $12.60 per head.
Cancellation of Function Bookings

A cancellation must be made a minimum of one week prior to the date of the booking, or full charges are incurred.

Confirmed numbers must be submitted no less than three working days before the function date.
