Leaves, twigs, fruits and flowers – food webs with Richmond School
Richmond School took a field trip to the National Aquarium where food webs of the bush were investigated along with native animals like our two kiwi, Ngaio and Ed, and the gorgeous green geckos.
The students used microscopes to discover things like the intricate networks of leaf structure and kiwi feathers.
Later that day they went to Dolbel Reserve for a talk and walk around the restoration project at the park reserve.
