Beach Clean

Post-Fireworks Youth Beach Clean!

Come and help clean up the beach along Marine Parade to pick up all the used fireworks after Guy Fawkes night.Photo from 2020

Unfortunately every year there is a large amount of used fireworks left on our beach. Last year a staff member and two boys cleaned up a small section of the beach behind the National Aquarium. In only 15 minutes they collected all the rubbish you see in this picture!

Join us for a Beach Clean this Sunday after Guy Fawkes.
When: 10am-11am, Sunday 7 November
Where: Meet at Education room, National Aquarium.
Bring: BYO gardening gloves if you have some (we have a limited supply)
