Come out of your shell, step into our keeper's shoes and head behind the scenes into the terrapin habitat.Get up close with this impressive squad of tiny turtles - you’ll be surprised at how quickly they can move. After our keeper prepares their lunch, you will need a steady hand to feed the hungry crew.
You’ll have a shell of a good time with the terrapins at the National Aquarium, plus - general admission to the aquarium is included as part of this encounter.
Time: 1.00pm daily
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes (please arrive 10 minutes prior)
Encounter inclusions: This encounter also includes general admission to the aquarium on the date of your encounter booking.
Participants: Maximum of 4 people. Minimum age 6 years. Children 14 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult that is part of the encounter.
Cost: $60 per adult, $40 per child (includes General Admission) inclusive of GST (1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025, prices subject to change)
Bookings: Bookings are essential and subject to availability / confirmation.
Cancellations: Due to limited availability, tickets are strictly non-refundable.
Please note: We require all participants to wear covered shoes (fully enclosed, no 'Crocs') that have grip for uneven surfaces to ensure your personal safety in the habitat. As this encounter takes place in front of general public, we suggest wearing long trousers or shorts. All encounters must be pre-paid before your booking is confirmed. Due to limited availability, tickets are strictly non-refundable.
